A cat cleaning its butt while sitting on the roof. Oh! And over there is Wile E. Coyote with a perfect Road Runner trap set up. Hold up, is that the leg lamp for sale in the antique store?!

Winterfest Train & Village
The Seattle Center is amazing. Full stop. No notes. They host a wide variety of festivals throughout the year to celebrate people. There are all sorts of cultural festivals in the spring and summer and in the winter we get to watch choo choo trains while carolers sing.
The winter village is absolutely charming. It spans a huge section of the Seattle Center and is filled with a myriad of buildings, people, animals, and a diverse mix of characters getting up to good and bad. To encourage you to linger and fully explore the village, there are weekly scavenger hunts. Complete the hunt, turn in your form, and be entered to win a prize!

I’ve no clue what the prizes are. I just wanted to find the things. We went twice this year and completed the hunt both times. Unfortunately, I’m quite sure one of our answers to the first hunt was wrong as it more accurately fit the second one… Ah well.
I’m going to prioritize going every week next year so I can do all the scavenger hunts. I’m kind of bummed they don’t post the answers. Apparently, one of the questions from a week we didn’t go was how many pies are there in the village? There are so many! I don’t know how someone could possibly keep an accurate count!
