In planning our trip to Singapore, I was so freaking excited about how much nature they preserved and one of the coolest things is this tree-top walk in Windsor Nature Park.
Future Devin here. I would normally write a bunch more describing all the cool things I saw and did on this adventure but there’s an 8-month gap between me writing that line and me writing this one. I’ve slept since then and don’t remember much.
(Wondering why this just hit your feed in August but the post says it was live in December? I’m backdating it so this post aligns with its predecessors. It makes me happier and it’s my blog/journal/thingie.)
I can tell you that we took a bus to the park. I was super excited to see chickens when we arrived. Why are there chickens? I dunno. Why not?!
I went to the bathroom before we started our hiking adventure. There were monkeys! I don’t have pictures because it was a bathroom but it’s cool because the monkeys were EVERYWHERE. So much so that by the end of the trip, we were kind of fed up with them. Well, not them so much as it was the people stopping and completely blocking narrow paths to take photos of them. I wanted to go home and shower dang it.
The bridge was absolutely AH-MAZE-ING.
Yes, walking past the scarred monkey while on said bridge was the scariest thing of the day.
10/10 would recommend this on your visit to Singapore.
Especially if you can match my freak or at least the freak fo the person you’re with. Cheers!
